Volunteers kick-off Food4Kids program by packaging bags for 98 kindergartners

We launched the Marshall Food4Kids program Sunday by packing bags with healthy weekend snacks for 98 Marshall kindergartners for the month of September. The food will start being distributed to the kids starting this Friday! A big thanks to everyone who came out to help.

More than 30% of Marshall school kids qualify for the free or reduced lunch program as compared to the state average of 14%. The goal is to someday expand our program to include more kids in other grades.
